Quinoa Flakes Blueberry Porridge

No chemicals. No added sugars. No preservatives. And 100% gluten, dairy, soy and nut-free. Wahoo!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup quinoa flakes

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon nut/seed butter

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries (fresh will work but you won't get the same color)

  • 1/2 scoop protein powderoptional

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Sweetener of choice optional*

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook until thickened, 60 - 90 seconds.
  2. Serve immediately.

 

NOTE

For the sweetener, you can use 2 packets of stevia. Any other sweetener would also work, maple syrup and chopped dates would be delicious.
